The Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) is the official aid agency of Switzerland.Since 1994, SDC has been supporting a bilateral cooperation programme with South Africa. The Regional Programme Southern Africa 2008 – 2010 (RPSA) represents a shift towards regional priorities, aimed at reaching regional cooperation. Three domains of intervention define the activities carried out as part of the Regional Strategy: Good governance, HIV/AIDS and sustainable use of natural resources. Particular attention is given to Zimbabwe considering the dramatic situation taking place.
